ACCREDITATION

All curricula offered by the University of Alabama College of Engineering are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and, through reciprocity, by the other regional associations of colleges. The Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, the national accrediting agency for engineering programs, has examined and accredited all of the professional engineering undergraduate programs. The Cooperative Education Program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. The computer science curriculum is accredited by the Computer Science Accreditation Commission of the Computing Sciences Accreditation Board.
