CULVERHOUSE COLLEGE OF COMMERCE AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION MINORS

Students in the College of Arts and Sciences may apply one of several approved minors in the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration toward the requirements of a College of Arts and Sciences degree program, subject to the provisions stated on p. 64-66. The approved minors and their course requirements follow. All require a minimum of 6 hours at the 300 or 400 level earned on this campus.

1EC 110 and EC 111 are prerequisites for all courses in finance.

5The real estate minor satisfies the pre-licensing educational requirements of the Alabama Real Estate Brokers Examination.

Students pursuing any of these minors also are subject to the following policies of the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration (C&BA). Failure to comply with these policies will result in administrative disenrollment from C&BA courses.

1. Prior to enrolling in any 300- or 400-level C&BA course, a student must complete all of the specific prerequisites established for that course.

2. Prior to enrolling in any 300- or 400-level C&BA course, a student must have achieved junior standing (defined for purposes of this policy as 55 semester hours earned).

3. No more than 30 hours of C&BA courses (not counting EC 110 and EC 111) may be taken for degree credit.
